The CMRSA offers a range of activities for diverse audiences. Each year we organize a lecture series featuring speakers from the University of Amsterdam as well as other Dutch and international universities on ongoing research in all fields relating to medieval studies.

Lectures series

Lectures are normally held at the VOC-zaal in the Bushuis, Kloveniersburgwal 48, Amsterdam, on the first Wednesday of the month during term, at 4pm. They are followed by a drinks reception to which all are welcome.

 

Medieval colloquium

In cooperation with students a medieval colloquium presents monthly activities including excursions, lectures and round table discussions in order to introduce the several facets of medieval studies and bring students into contact with each other.
